Dave Ng is a General Partner at Altara Ventures. He previously served as Head of Southeast Asia at Eight Roads Ventures in Singapore and was a Venture Partner and founding member of B Capital. Earlier in his career he was a Director at Oracle, an early employee at Zuora, and a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. He holds a Master in International Development from Harvard University and degrees in Computer Engineering and Economics from Carnegie Mellon University.

Gavin Teo is a General Partner at Altara Ventures and a guest lecturer at the National University of Singapore. He was previously a General Partner at B Capital Group, where he led the investment committee for its first growth fund and ran its San Francisco office, and earlier led digital media, healthcare, and frontier technology investments at Comcast Ventures. Before investing, he managed products at Zynga on the FarmVille team and began his career as a consultant at Bain & Company; he holds an MBA from The Wharton School and an undergraduate degree from Claremont McKenna College.

General Partner with extensive experience in operations, private equity, and growth-stage investing across Southeast Asia. He co-founded Omni Electronics in 1991 and has managed private equity funds since 2006 focused on manufacturing, ICT, services, logistics, and consumer sectors in the region.

A seasoned investor, entrepreneur, and business manager who sits on multiple boards. He began his career at Hewlett-Packard in 1984, later co-founded Omni Electronics, and since 2006 has managed private equity funds providing growth-stage capital to SMEs across Southeast Asia. He holds bachelor's and master's engineering degrees from the National University of Singapore.

Bryan Ngadimin joined Altara Ventures with a background spanning both investing and operations, including work across public equities, restructuring, fundraising, and advisory. On the operating side, he contributed to the early growth of Gojek, helped launch operations for a CVC-backed startup, and founded a venture-funded startup. He holds a Master of Liberal Arts in Finance from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of Rochester.

Chwee Chen works as a Fund Admin Executive at Altara Ventures, focusing on fund administration and operational support for the firm's investment activities.

Jamaine Lee is an investor at Altara Ventures focusing on early-stage opportunities across Southeast Asia. Before joining the firm, she worked with funds in the Philippines (Gentree) and Indonesia (Argor Capital, formerly Go-Ventures). She holds a Bachelor of Business in Banking and Finance from Nanyang Technological University.

Jun Ho Bae joined Altara Ventures in 2025, following nearly a decade investing in technology startups across the APAC region. He previously led APAC investments at Tenity and Plug and Play, concentrating on fintech, insurtech, and digital health, and earlier helped build regional startup investments and strategic partnerships for AirAsia's corporate venture arm across travel, consumer internet, logistics, and financial services. He holds degrees in Economics, Strategy, and Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis.

Karen Ng serves as a Finance Executive at Altara Ventures, where she manages the firm's financial operations. She also supports the firm's investment and administrative activities.

Sylvia Goh serves as Senior Vice President of Finance & Compliance at Altara Ventures. She oversees the firm's financial management and regulatory compliance across its operations.

Teddy Peralta works at Altara Ventures, bringing experience across financial services and data. He was previously on the investment team at Arbor Ventures, a global multistage fintech fund, where he covered supply chain, payments, and capital markets across the US, MENA, and Asia, and earlier held product roles at Clair and Dashlabs.ai (YC W21) and worked with Kaya Founders to incubate a fintech startup in the Philippines. He holds a BA with a dual major in Economics and Cognitive Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
