Investment thesis
TVF is an early-stage, B2B technology investor focused primarily on Seed rounds with occasional Series A entries. It backs strong entrepreneurial teams building transformative technology with a defensible technical core across SaaS/software, IoT, digital solutions, medtech, biotech, new materials, and greentech/cleantech. The firm emphasizes proximity, mainly investing within a roughly two-hour reach — the Rhineland area of Germany plus neighboring Netherlands and Belgium — and will consider deals across Germany given a strong fit. TVF is comfortable leading rounds but also co-invests in consortia with other VCs and angels, and leverages the S-UBG Group's network of over 150 SME companies to help startups access early customers and partners.
