Investment thesis
Venture Stars follows a boutique investment approach, deliberately keeping a small, high-quality portfolio in which its team of former founders becomes actively involved in key areas to raise the success rate of each investment. Founders work directly with a partner in an entrepreneur-to-entrepreneur relationship. The firm looks for teams with a convincing, game-changing vision, intrinsic motivation beyond money, and strong identification with their product and market; value-oriented, reflective, honest personalities who love what they do and stay open to advice; and a comparative advantage rooted in deep market understanding, product competence, and leadership skills. It frequently backs founders very early, sometimes before company formation, and supports them across financing rounds.
