As the investment function of Scottish Enterprise (formerly the Scottish Investment Bank), the team aims to boost equity funding for globally ambitious Scottish companies, ensuring the right funding reaches the right companies from the right sources. It offers co-investment funds that match private investors such as business angels, syndicates, venture capital groups and corporate investors, alongside loan funding via the Scottish Loan Scheme. It provides advisory support to prepare companies for investment, connects them with international investors, and delivers market intelligence on Scotland's risk finance market.
