Josh Tanenbaum is a Managing Partner at Rebalance Capital who has worked in asset management for about a decade. He was previously an investment banker at Citi covering fintech and alternative asset managers, an investing fellow at Partners Group, and a human capital consultant at Korn Ferry, where he co-founded the firm's impact investing practice. Earlier in his career he founded and exited LOCAL VIBES, an artist scouting and cause marketing startup. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Melbourne and an MBA from Cornell's SC Johnson College of Business.

Adam Fern is a Venture Partner who currently works as Product Lead at Proof of Play, a game studio and blockchain company, where he handles token strategy, platform products, and player growth. He previously held product leadership roles including Director of Product, Partnerships, and Growth at Better.com, VP of Product & Special Projects at LSQ, and Head of Product for Square Capital, and was a founding team member and Risk Product Lead for the Square Cash App.

Jay Rosenzweig is the founder of Rosenzweig & Company and focuses on designing and building teams, consulting with public and private companies ranging from large global corporations to venture capital firms. He invests in and advises technology companies across North America and internationally, and produces the annual Rosenzweig Report on equity. He earned degrees in Philosophy, Civil Law, and Common Law at McGill University and completed the Harvard Law School Negotiation Program.

Jimmy Cannon is a Venture Partner focused on FinTech, with more than 25 years in consumer finance and strategy consulting, particularly credit and auto finance. He previously held a senior leadership role in JPMorgan Chase's auto finance division and helped grow Capital One's partnership-focused credit card business, and later served as President of consumer FinTech lender Applied Data Finance. He holds a BA in Mathematics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

Justin Foa has more than twenty years of experience in leadership, growth strategy, and insurance distribution. He served as President and CEO of Foa & Son, leading its expansion before selling the firm to Alera Group in 2022, where he now works as Tri-State Regional Director; earlier in his career he spent over a decade at multinational insurance brokerages, including a role as Vice President in the Mergers and Acquisitions Insurance Division at Aon Risk Services. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School with concentrations in insurance, legal studies, and marketing.

Raphael Davis has a background in financial services, beginning in capital markets trading MBS/ABS products before joining AIG, where he served as a Residential MBS Portfolio Manager and later Managing Director of Securitized Products. He founded Second Street Partners, an advisory firm focused on mortgages and structured products for government entities with stressed mortgage exposure after the financial crisis. He studied Political Science at Penn State and Economics and Political Science at American University.

Ron Gonen is Managing Director at Allianz Life Ventures, the US corporate venture capital arm of Allianz. His earlier roles include investment analyst positions at the Princeton endowment (PRINCO), Franklin Templeton, Gems, and the multi-family office Clarity Capital, and he informally advises the Fitz Gate Venture fund. He holds a degree in Economics and an MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School, where he took part in the Value Investing program, and holds the CFA designation.

Yael Kaufmann is a Venture Partner with over a decade of experience as a founder, investor, and operator in workforce, education, fintech, and impact investing. She co-founded Learn In and served as its COO, leading its acquisition by Degreed, where she held roles including Interim CFO, SVP Finance & Operations, and Head of Partnerships. Earlier in her career she worked in private equity and as a VC, impact investor, and fintech entrepreneur. She holds a BS in Mathematics and Finance from William & Mary and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Adam Scharf is a Senior Technical Product Manager at Amazon with background in growth and operations, including leadership of a team of over 80 people at BuildZoom. He previously spent more than four years at Deloitte Consulting advising Fortune 100 companies on strategy, and holds degrees in Math and Economics from Emory University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business.

Bill Thompson, Jr. has been a Partner and Chief Administrative Officer at investment firm Siebert Cisneros Shank & Co. since 2010. His public service includes serving as Comptroller of the City of New York from 2002, where he oversaw one of the largest U.S. pension funds, as well as roles as President of the NYC Board of Education and Chairman of state housing finance agencies. Since 2016 he has been the Governor-appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The City University of New York. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Tufts University.

Cherie Chung is co-founder of Holly, an AI-focused government workforce platform founded in 2023 that serves 70 agencies across 12 states, including Santa Clara County, San Bernardino County, and Contra Costa County. She holds an MBA and MPP from Harvard and has previously worked on earned wage access research, social safety net access, digital inclusion initiatives, and cash transfer programs. Holly currently employs 25 people and is headquartered in New York City.

Ilan Kaufthal has more than 40 years of experience as an investment banker and corporate executive. He has served as chairman of East Wind, a boutique investment bank focused on the education sector, since 2010, and previously was a Senior Advisor at Irving Place Capital, Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at Bear, Stearns & Co, head of M&A at Schroders & Co, and CFO of NL Industries. He holds a BS from Columbia University and an MBA from New York University.

Michael Kennedy is a Senior Client Partner in Korn Ferry's Atlanta office, working within the firm's Global Financial Services Market on commercial/investment banking, capital markets, and asset management searches, and co-leads its Diversity Center of Expertise. He previously ran a venture capital consulting firm advising a Southeast private equity fund, and held roles at GE Capital, Wachovia, and J.P. Morgan. He was appointed by President Obama and confirmed by the U.S. Senate as chairman of the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Monika Machon previously served as Senior Vice President & Treasurer (2013-16) and Chief Investment Officer/Global Head of Asset Management (2009-13) at AIG, where she also held roles including Head of Fixed Income and CEO of AIG Investments Europe. Before joining AIG in 1998, she held banking and investment roles at financial institutions in the US and UK. She holds an MBA in Finance and a Juris Doctor from Indiana University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Robert Rush is an Investment Associate at Rebalance Capital. He previously led workforce development initiatives at Correlation One, running programs to help underrepresented learners move into data and technology roles, and began his career at Meta (Facebook) managing digital marketing campaigns for retail brands. He focuses on impact investing at the intersection of education, technology, and financial inclusion, and holds an MBA and Education degree from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree in Socio-Political Theory and African American Studies from Harvard University.

Ron Cordes has worked in wealth and asset management for over 35 years. He co-founded and served as CEO of AssetMark (NYSE: AMK), a US managed account platform with over $90 billion in AUM, and co-authored The Art of Investing (McGraw-Hill). He co-founded the Cordes Foundation and ImpactAssets, and holds advisory and board roles across several financial services organizations.

Sari Miller is an investor in startups and social ventures and has led large financial services companies, serving as Partner, EVP, and CFO of an insurance company later sold to AIG, and founding an insurance company that went public. Over the past decade she has concentrated on impact-for-profit ventures. She holds a BA from Barnard College, Columbia University, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Sebastian Molina Gasman is Principal of Latin America at Accion Venture Lab, where he oversees investment activity in inclusive fintech and manages deal sourcing, diligence, and post-investment support. Previously, he served as Investment Manager at Seedstars International, focusing on early-stage technology ventures in emerging markets, and held a position at Bloomberg L.P. in financial technology. He holds a CFA Charter, a BS in Economics, International Relations, and International Development from Tulane University, and an MPA from Cornell University, where he was an Environmental Finance and Impact Investing Fellow.

Bobby Torres is an Investment Associate at Rebalance Capital. He previously worked as an investment banker in Citi's Financial Institutions Group, covering asset management and executing transactions for clients including AllianceBernstein and Franklin Resources. He holds undergraduate degrees in Finance, Economics, Political Science, and History from Pennsylvania State University.
