Investment thesis
EIT Urban Mobility invests in and supports European startups and scaleups developing innovative urban mobility solutions that deliver financial, environmental and social impact and help make cities more sustainable and healthier. As an impact investor, it backs companies from pre-seed to Series A with grants and equity, and runs acceleration programmes such as its core accelerator, Catalyse New European Bauhaus, Rocket Up (Supernovas) for women-led ventures, and a Regional Innovation Booster. It emphasises gender balance, connecting portfolio companies with public-policy stakeholders at regional, national and European levels, and bridging leading startup ecosystems with the EU through a networked venture-capital approach.
