Investment thesis
VFF focuses on Slovak innovative small and medium enterprises in the growth phase, from late seed to Series A/B, that have at least a partially functional, market-tested product with first paying customers or contracts. It emphasizes team quality and scalability with international potential. Investments range from a minimum of EUR 400k, optimally EUR 1.5-2.0M, and up to EUR 7M including follow-ons. VFF always co-invests with an independent private co-investor on a 50:50 pari-passu basis. The fund targets companies founded and operating in Slovakia and EU companies with capital ties to Slovakia. It committed EUR 55M over 2020-2026 with a 10-year fund life aimed at successful exits.
