Investment thesis
Flex Capital provides non-dilutive debt financing to help startups and small-to-mid businesses accelerate growth without equity dilution. It offers three products: revenue-based financing (up to ~30M yen against future revenue), pure venture debt (up to ~300M yen, unsecured and unguaranteed, with no equity warrants), and invoice financing (paying suppliers and repaying over four installments). Underwriting relies on granular data via API or file upload rather than traditional loan documents, enabling approvals within two weeks even for pre-profit or deficit-stage companies. The service targets companies extending runway, funding inventory or marketing, or bridging to IPO while avoiding dilution.
