Duarte Mineiro is a Managing Partner at Armilar Venture Partners, where he leads fundraising efforts and remains active in the firm's HealthTech investing. João Dias is an Investment Partner at Armilar Venture Partners, which he joined in 2011. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and an MBA from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and began his career as a university lecturer at IST. He previously worked in management consulting at Deloitte, Towers Watson, and Strategos, and now focuses on screening investment opportunities and managing relationships with Portuguese incubators and research institutes.

José Guerreiro de Sousa holds a BSc in Computer and Systems Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and an MBA from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. He began his career as a researcher at INESC, worked over ten years in banking, and spent eight years as a marketing and commercial manager at Novabase SA. He joined Armilar in 2004, served as a board member and observer in several portfolio companies until retiring from executive roles in January 2024, and currently sits on Armilar's Investment Committee.

Pedro Ribeiro Santos is a Managing Partner at Armilar Venture Partners, which he joined in 2009, where he leads deeptech and enterprise investments with a focus on software development and SaaS, and heads the firm's sustainability practice. He holds a BSc in Physics Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and an MBA and MSc in Economics from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and began his career as a physics researcher at the University of Oxford. He previously spent over 12 years in IT and management consulting at Accenture and The Boston Consulting Group, plus two years as an IT and Organizational Director, and serves as a board member or observer of several Armilar portfolio companies.

Darío Villena is a venture capital professional with more than ten years of experience in deep tech investing across Europe. Before Armilar, he was Investment Director at Kapita and earlier at Swanlaab, and began his venture career at Seedstars working with early-stage companies in emerging markets. He previously worked in product management at Nexiona, giving him a technical background in IoT and product development, and has taught at IE Business School and acted as a technology evaluator for programs including Hello Tomorrow and South Summit.

Pedro Almeida is a Principal at Armilar Venture Partners, which he joined in 2021, bringing experience as both a startup operator and investor. He previously held executive roles at Aptoide, a Web3 startup, worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, and advised technology startups on go-to-market while investing as a business angel. He holds a BSc in Management and MSc in Finance from Nova SBE and an MBA from INSEAD.

Camille Venot is the Communications Manager at Armilar Venture Partners. Before joining, she worked with Paris-based VC CapHorn and organized international tech conferences at Unbound in London. After moving to Lisbon, she founded a co-working space and organized offsites for startups.

Carmo Sousa Coutinho is the Compliance Officer at Armilar Venture Partners, where she oversees internal procedures and compliance matters and coordinates reporting to the firm's LP community. She holds a BSc in Economics from Instituto Superior de Matemática e Gestão and previously worked in corporate finance at Banco Efisa and Arthur Andersen. She has been with Armilar since 2001.

Francisco Costa Macedo is the People Manager at Armilar, where he supports portfolio companies with hiring, and has been with the firm since 2000. He holds a BSc in Philosophy from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, studied Theology in Berkeley, and completed postgraduate courses in management and human resources management. His background is in talent and HR management across several sectors, primarily finance and healthcare.

Helder Antunes is a Portuguese-American executive and consultant with over 30 years of experience in Silicon Valley's technology industry. He is currently CEO of GDS360, a cybersecurity company, and previously spent about 20 years at Cisco Systems, most recently as a Senior Director in Cisco's Corporate Strategic Innovations Group, where he worked on aligning technology development with corporate strategy, strategic partnerships, and M&A. He has collaborated with the Portuguese government and universities and hosted Portuguese engineering interns in Silicon Valley.

Inês Macedo Santos is a Principal at Armilar Venture Partners, which she joined in 2021, where she focuses on sourcing and screening investment opportunities and supporting portfolio companies. She previously spent eight years in strategic and management consulting at The Boston Consulting Group. She holds a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from FCT Nova and an MBA from Nova/Católica Universities in collaboration with MIT-Sloan.

Joaquim Sérvulo Rodrigues founded Armilar Venture Partners in 2000 and has helped shape the firm since its beginning. He holds a BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and an MBA from INSEAD, and has over 16 years of experience as a CEO and General Manager. He began his career as an Assistant Professor at IST and a Researcher at INESC, and serves on the boards of several companies.

Juan Gonzalez is a Spanish executive and consultant with over 30 years of experience across technology, innovation, and strategy. He has served as a partner at Arthur D. Little, leading work on the transformation of financial services providers, and previously oversaw strategic development at Indra, where he promoted investments and alliances in cloud, cybersecurity, and control systems. Earlier in his career he was a partner at Boston Consulting Group, advising telecom, equipment, software, and media companies across Europe and Latin America, and has collaborated with Spanish institutions on digitalization strategies.

Margarida Trindade is an executive assistant at Armilar Venture Partners, which she joined in 2023. She handles travel and meeting planning, manages accounts receivable and payable, and supports event coordination.

Nuno Sebastião is Co-Founder and CEO of Feedzai, a company applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to fraud prevention for banks, payment processors, and retailers, which he founded in Portugal in 2011. Before Feedzai, he worked as an engineer for the European Space Agency. He is an alumnus of London Business School and a member of the World Economic Forum's Digital Leaders and the Forbes Fintech Council.

Paulo Rosado is the Founder and CEO of OutSystems, a company he started in 2001 focused on enterprise software development in the low-code market; OutSystems became Portugal's first home-grown unicorn in 2018. Earlier, he co-founded Intervento, an e-business software infrastructure company sold in 1999, and held R&D and product management roles at Oracle Corporation. He holds a Master's in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Computer Engineering degree from Universidade Nova in Lisbon.

Pedro Castel-Branco is a Principal at Armilar Venture Partners, where he works on early-stage B2B software investments with a focus on digital health, applied AI, and data-driven SaaS. His role covers evaluating opportunities, leading investment analysis, and supporting portfolio companies. He holds a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and an MBA from INSEAD, and previously spent eight years at McKinsey & Company working on strategy, digital transformation, and risk projects in banking and retail.

Rodolfo Condessa is an Investment Partner at Armilar Venture Partners, which he joined in 2019, where he screens investment opportunities and supports portfolio companies. He holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and began his career as a trainee at the European Space Agency. He has more than 14 years of prior experience in space strategy, technology transfer, IP and sales.

Vítor Martins handles financial reporting for Armilar's limited partners, its regulator, and shareholders. He has a background in economics and corporate finance, with prior experience in the VC industry, as a CFO of an industrial company, and as an auditor. He joined Armilar in 2007.
