Michael Hochholzer holds a PhD with early research in optoelectronics and began his industry career bringing security ICs to market at Infineon, later co-founding and serving as CEO of a corporate-internal RFID startup. He has worked as a venture capitalist since 2001 across both financial and corporate funds, with investments in more than 25 companies and participation in over 15 exits, including acquisitions and an IPO. At G+D Ventures he focuses on cyber security, fraud in financial services, and compliant use of big data and AI.

Alberto Pérez Arranz began his career in investment banking, where he supported high-tech companies on M&A and fundraising deals. He later co-founded a startup accelerator, worked in the telco industry, and led early-stage investments for a corporate VC covering Northern Europe and the DACH region. He focuses on B2B investments and has completed 7 investments and managed 2 exits.

Andreas Barthelmes began his career at Giesecke+Devrient in an innovation office, where he analyzed technology fields including blockchain and biometrics and worked on G+D's biometrics strategy and market analysis. He later joined G+D Ventures as an investor. His interests include Web3 and distributed ledger technologies, payment-related fraud prevention and anti-money laundering, and biometrics.
