Criteria Venture Tech invests in early-stage technology startups, backing visionary founders with ambitious ideas. At pre-seed it targets rounds of €1-4M with first checks of €0.5-2M (up to €15M including follow-ons), backing companies from foundational idea to live MVP as lead or co-lead, with a focus on Spain, Portugal and companies with Iberian roots. At seed it targets rounds of €2-10M with first checks of €1-5M, backing market-tested solutions with proven technology as lead, co-lead or follower, across Europe and occasionally the US. Core focus areas are AI, cybersecurity, data, software infrastructure and deeptech.
