Investment thesis
ARC Angel Fund invests in seed- and early-stage companies that have a product and some revenue, with valuations under $5M, targeting high-growth potential businesses. It focuses on industries where its members have experience, including software, IT, internet, tech-enabled and business services, digital media, mobile, and healthcare IT. As a member-led angel fund, its structure blends an angel group with a venture fund: the GP is owned by investors, and general membership makes investment decisions through evaluation, due diligence, and monitoring committees. Its geographic focus is NYC and the surrounding Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region, with members able to co-invest alongside the fund.
