from the firm's websiteJeff McCormick founded Saturn Partners in 1994 to finance early-stage growth companies, and he leads the firm's exploration of new investment areas and works closely with portfolio companies on strategy, team building, and go-to-market efforts. His background spans investment banking, entrepreneurship, and venture capital dating to the early 1990s, including work as an analyst and investment banker at Bariston Associates in Boston. He holds an MBA in finance and a BS in biology from Syracuse University.
Dr. Guttman joined Saturn in 2006 and has built and advised technology companies since the mid-1990s. He is a special advisor at Carnegie Mellon University, executive chairman of Carnegie Innovations, cofounder of CyLab and Panopto, and has led several institutionally backed ventures.
Ed began his private equity career in 1997 and joined Saturn in 2001, overseeing finance and administration while working with portfolio companies on growth strategies and financing. He previously served as fund controller at Berkshire Partners.
