Sanjay Nayar is a General Partner at Peak providing strategic guidance, corporate connections and scale-up advice. He founded KKR's India business and led it as CEO for 11 years, deploying $14Bn, after 25 years in senior roles at Citibank/Citigroup. He is also a Non-Executive Director at Nykaa and Founding Partner of Sorin Investments, and holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

Aakash Shah is a Partner at Peak Sustainability Ventures where he leads the investment team, deals, partnerships, sourcing and business development, with domain expertise across new energy, food systems, water, alternative materials and climate tech. He previously ran the VC arm of Sattva Capital, co-led the Asia portfolio at Accion Venture Lab, worked at Contrarian Partners and Aksia, and co-founded and led NeonVest (acquired by AI Turbo in 2024).

Aditya Khator is part of the investment team at Peak Sustainability Ventures, where he focuses on areas including low-carbon cement, building materials, waste-to-energy, and hydrogen, and works on startup sourcing, pipeline management, and ecosystem engagement across India and globally. Before joining Peak, he worked at the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), leading studies on green hydrogen, green steel, and industrial decarbonization in collaboration with government ministries, academic institutions, and corporates. He holds a B.Tech and M.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Amay Shah is part of the investment team at Peak Sustainability Ventures, where he focuses on energy, next-generation solar, advanced materials, carbon markets, and the firm's agri-waste to energy project, and contributes to sourcing, project execution, and building in-house research tools. Before joining Peak, he worked at KPMG on corporate sustainability reporting and strategy. He holds a BA in Environment, Economics, and Politics from Claremont McKenna College, where he led the In-Lend Fund, the college's microfinance initiative.

Avishi Patodia is part of the investment team at Peak Sustainability Ventures, where she covers verticals including alternative materials, next-generation fibres, agriculture, and biochar, drawing on a background in textiles and sustainable materials. Her work at the fund includes global deal sourcing, pipeline management, and business development. She previously held an operations and strategy role in venture capital at Carta in the UK and an investment advisory role at Julius Baer India, and holds a bachelor's degree from Boston University's Questrom School of Business and an MSc in Investment & Wealth Management from Imperial College London.

Dhaval Savla is the finance and operations manager at Peak Sustainability Ventures, overseeing investor servicing, fund administration, and operational compliance. He has more than 14 years of experience in accounting, regulatory compliance, taxation, audit, and fund operations across private equity and venture capital, including multi-jurisdictional AIFs and VCFs. He previously worked at Apex Group handling fund accounts and tax and distribution processes, and started his career at CA L.K. Dhedhia & Co. He is a CA Inter and holds a B.Com from Mumbai University.

Dhruv Makwana is part of the investment team at Peak, working on energy efficiency, energy storage systems, battery recycling, and critical minerals, where he handles sector research, investment evaluation, and portfolio support. He previously worked at Siemens Financial Services in New York, supporting ESG integration across project finance, structured finance, and corporate lending, and conducting credit and ESG risk assessments. He holds an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Columbia University with a focus on Sustainable Energy and a B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering from Pandit Deendayal Energy University.

Erik Solheim served as Executive Director of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) from May 2016 to November 2018 and as an Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, following a career in environment and development across government and international organizations. Before the UN, he chaired the OECD's Development Assistance Committee and, from 2007 to 2012, held Norway's combined portfolio of Minister of the Environment and International Development. His recognitions include UN Environment's Champions of the Earth award and TIME's Hero of the Environment.

Joseph Mariathasan is an Operating Partner at Peak Sustainability Ventures. He is a Director of the Global Initiative for a Sustainable Tomorrow (GIST), sits on the advisory boards of Moneyhub and pinBox Solutions, and is a Contributing Editor at Investments & Pensions Europe (IPE). His earlier career includes roles at Shell, Kleinwort Benson, Aviva and GMO, and he holds a doctorate in physics from Oxford University.

Pavan Sukhdev is the Founder and CEO of GIST Impact, a climate data analytics company focused on measuring natural, social, and human capital impact for large corporations. He serves as President of WWF International and as a goodwill Ambassador for UN Environment, and authored TEEB's report for UNEP, "The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity." He has received the Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement (2020), the Blue Planet Prize (2016), and the Gothenburg Award for Sustainable Development (2013).

Pradip Shah founded and served as Managing Director of CRISIL, India's first and largest credit rating agency, and earlier assisted in founding HDFC in 1977 and establishing the Indocean Fund in 1994 alongside Chase Capital Partners and Soros Fund Management. He now runs IndAsia, a corporate finance and investment advisory firm, and leads GrowTrees, a biodiversity initiative. He holds an MBA from Harvard University, a B.Com from Bombay University, and is a Chartered Accountant.

Puneet Dalmia is the Managing Director & CEO of Dalmia Bharat Group, an Indian conglomerate operating in cement, sugar, and refractories, which he has led since 2004. Earlier in his career, he co-founded the internet venture JobsAhead.com. He is a Chartered Accountant with a B.Tech from IIT-Delhi and an MBA from IIM-Bangalore, and chairs the government's Development Council for Cement Industry.

Rajiv Mittal is Managing Director and Group CEO of VA Tech Wabag, a publicly-listed Indian water technology company. He has worked in the water industry for around three decades, focusing on sustainable water use, alternative water sources, wastewater treatment, and water treatment technologies. He was ranked the 3rd most influential water leader in the world by WWI (UK) in 2017 and 2018.

Sam Parker was appointed Director of the Shell Foundation in 2015, a Shell-backed non-profit focused on improving access to sustainable energy and transport across Africa and Asia. He previously served as an advisor to IKEA until December 2022 and was the first CEO of Water & Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP), starting in 2006, and received a Skoll Foundation Award for Social Entrepreneurship in 2014. He currently runs FIGURE80, an advisory firm supporting governance for social enterprises, and is a graduate of Oxford University.

Satya Tripathi is a development economist and lawyer with more than 35 years of experience, including over two decades with the United Nations across sustainable development, human rights, democratic governance, and legal affairs. He served as Assistant Secretary-General of UNEP until March 2021 and is now Secretary General of the Global Alliance for a Sustainable Planet (GASP). He also holds a Senior Distinguished Fellow role on natural resources governance with the World Agroforestry Centre.

Subodh Kumar is the former Executive Director of Petrochemicals, Alternative Energy, and Sustainable Development at Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), with 37 years of experience spanning petroleum products, alternative energy, nuclear power, and battery storage. He initiated and launched the SATAT program with India's Ministry of Petroleum to promote Bio-CNG for transportation. He holds a BTech in Electrical Engineering from IIT-BHU and an MBA from MDI Gurugram.

Tim Palmer is a Royal Society Research Professor in Climate Physics and Senior Alumni Fellow at the University of Oxford, where he studies the predictability and dynamics of weather and climate, including extreme events. He contributed to the first five IPCC assessment reports and co-chaired the scientific steering committee of the World Climate Research Program's project on climate variability and predictability. In 2023 he received the Royal Astronomical Society's Gold Medal for Geophysics, and he earned his DPhil from Oxford University in the mid-1970s.

Vikram Limaye served as Managing Director & CEO of the National Stock Exchange of India for five years until July 2022, and earlier held the same role at IDFC Limited, an Indian financial services group. Before moving to Mumbai in 2004, he worked at Credit Suisse First Boston in the U.S. for eight years. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Aadil is part of the investment team focused on food systems, water, energy efficiency, and advanced materials, driving strategic partnerships and portfolio monitoring for Peak's India-based companies. He previously worked at Baring Private Equity Asia's late-stage team and on its ESG framework, plus a search fund, a mid-market PE fund, and BNP Paribas, and co-founded a US-based education non-profit.

Ahana is on Peak's investment team, focusing on energy storage, energy efficiency, waste-to-energy, and alternative materials, and is involved in the firm's agri-waste to energy project and global sourcing. She previously worked as an energy, sustainability and infrastructure consultant at Guidehouse in the UK, led sustainability strategy for a fashion startup, and researched energy policy at the Brookings Institute's India Center.
