BII is an impact-first investor prioritizing social and economic outcomes—ownership, equity, and sustainability—alongside financial return to build generational wealth in communities. It funds small businesses, worker cooperatives, and Black and Latino-owned enterprises, as well as community-owned real estate projects such as land trusts and housing/business cooperatives across New England.
