Ashley Pilipiszyn is the founder and CEO of Besxar, which develops reusable orbital foundries designed to manufacture semiconductor wafers in space's ultra-high vacuum environment for applications in AI, quantum computing, and directed-energy systems. Previously, she served as OpenAI's first Technical Director to the CTO, contributing to the development of GPT-3, DALL·E, and Codex, and building the initial developer platform. She earlier held a position at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, where she led a DOE-funded project on grid resilience and intelligence that applied AI to monitor U.S. critical infrastructure systems.
