Investment thesis
Vinci's thesis holds that the energy transition will be constrained not by generation but by storage and system intelligence. As power systems integrate more renewables, batteries become critical infrastructure for balancing supply and demand. The firm invests across the energy transition ecosystem, including grid-scale and long-duration storage systems, and software that operates and monetizes these assets. It also backs energy software used by utilities, developers, and large energy users to manage batteries, optimize dispatch, aggregate distributed assets, and participate in electricity markets. The goal is to support companies making energy storage more deployable, profitable, and easier to operate at scale.
