Andres Baehr is Managing Partner of Savia Ventures, a Latin America-focused climate investment fund backing companies in bio-based materials, grid optimization, urban mining, and distributed energy. Previously, he led Engie Factory, a $20M corporate venture fund, and serves as an instructor in venture capital and corporate venturing at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Baehr holds a law degree and an MBA from Oxford, and has served on the board of the Chilean Venture Capital Association.

Mario Chaves is an LP and advisor at Savia Ventures and an advisor at Encora, a global services company. Since the mid-1990s he led Avantica Technologies, a software development and test automation services firm with development centers in Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia, and Bolivia, until its 2019 acquisition by Encora. Based in the Silicon Valley area, he speaks at conferences across Latin America on outsourcing and regional technology sector competitiveness.

Bryony Parker is a Senior Associate at Savia Ventures, where she focuses on climate tech investments in Latin America. She holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from King's College London.

Hanny Rivera serves as Director of Business Partnerships, Government at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc., and as Chief Scientist at Savia Ventures. Trained as a coral reef ecologist and geneticist, Rivera has more than a decade of experience developing research collaborations across academia, industry, philanthropy, and government, spanning early-stage R&D through commercialization. Rivera is a native Spanish speaker, fluent in Italian, and a scuba diver.
