Yomi Games

Yomi Games is a gaming studio that develops casual and social games with Web3 features, positioning player inclusivity, fun gameplay and easy onboarding as its guiding principles. Its stated vision is to push the boundaries of Web3 while building games that are broadly accessible to a mass-market audience.

The studio's titles include Snowcrest Peak, a Web3 simulation MMO playable in desktop and mobile browsers that combines farming simulation with idle racing, set in a rural town at the foothills of the Hokkaido Mountains where players revitalize the community and its ski resort; Yomi Block Puzzle, a free-to-play mobile block-puzzle game featuring kawaii pets and an in-game daisy currency used to buy pet accessories and upgrades, slated for launch in Fall 2023; and Yomi Gardens, a free-to-play casual farming simulation set in an anime fantasy world with collectible companions as digital assets and in-game tokens earned through progression, released for iOS and Android in Summer 2023.

Alongside its games, Yomi Games has produced blockchain technology and digital collectible projects. Oni Squad, its first digital collection, was a series of collectible ghosts offered as a free mint to its community, with holders and partner projects gaining additional access. The studio architected and developed the cross-chain inventory swapping feature for Lives of Asuna, allowing Asuna collectible owners to trade and swap accessories with one another on Polygon without bridging. It also published ERC-721AG, an open-source extension to Azuki's ERC-721A contract standard with optimizations intended to make digital collectibles more flexible and adaptable for gaming utility.
