Investment thesis
BCF Ventures backs disruptive, technology-driven startups at Series A and Series B stages, favoring companies with defensible IP and key scientific or technological innovation. It focuses on AI-driven enterprise software (applied AI and analytics, CRM, ERP, supply chain), with opportunistic bets in cybersecurity and fintech, plus digital-native consumer platforms in sports, wellness, gaming, and entertainment. The fund does not lead first rounds, takes minority positions, and seeks pro-rata rights for follow-on investment. It prefers companies with low cash burn, strong traction and unit economics, and teams with at least two full-time founders including a technical one. As a spin-off of a law firm, it leverages the firm's legal expertise and co-invests with funds across North America and Europe.
