About
Steph Tryphonas co-founded Collaborative Robotics in 2022 with Brad Porter and Jane Mooney, bringing an unusually complete operating background to a hard robotics problem — Cobot's own launch note calls Tryphonas 'the ultimate all-around executive,' having led teams spanning engineering, design, product and go-to-market. That range was built at Tellme Networks, the voice-technology company Microsoft acquired in 2007, and then at Microsoft as a principal director working on natural human-computer interaction alongside the early Kinect team. Cobot has since raised more than $140 million and put its Proxie robot to work in hospitals, factories and ports.
