Michael Melnick is a biotech scientist, investor, and entrepreneur. He began his career as a staff scientist at New England Biolabs, co-founded the cancer research and diagnostics company Cell Signaling Technology (serving as VP of Business and Corporate Development), and worked as a Venture Partner at CMEA Capital, where he invested in life science, industrial biotech, and cleantech. He has held operating roles at various biotech companies, most recently BioAtla, and holds a B.S. and M.S. in Biological Sciences from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in Genetics from Harvard University.
