Jeff Roberts

Dr. Jeff Roberts is the former Director of Advanced Energy Technologies at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where he spent 27 years in roles including Program Leader for Renewable Energy and Applied Energy Technologies and Deputy Division Leader for the Atmospheric, Earth, and Energy Division, publishing over 50 papers and holding ten patents. He co-founded the HPC4Mfg and HPC4EnergyInnovation programs and served as Executive Director of the National Laboratory Leadership Council from 2017-2019. He now provides technical consulting to startups in energy, materials, and advanced manufacturing, and holds a Ph.D. in Geoscience from Arizona State University and a B.S. from UT San Antonio.
