Eli Uzan is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Sphera Tech Fund. Before Sphera, he held senior management roles at Google Israel — overseeing international business operations across product, marketing, business development, and sales, including a global gaming center of excellence — and later at Facebook, where he led a multi-vertical business. He subsequently moved into entrepreneurship and angel investing; his most recent company, Videti, was acquired 2.5 years after founding. He holds an MBA in Marketing Management and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Nadav Zeller is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Sphera Tech Fund. He joined Sphera in 2013 as an Equity Research Analyst covering the technology, consumer, and services industries, having previously worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Camalia Capital Markets from 2010 to 2013. He holds a B.A. in Social Sciences with an emphasis on management from The Open University.

Ron Senator co-founded Sphera Funds Management in 2004 and is Managing Partner and Fund Manager of Sphera Fund. He previously headed JPMorgan Chase Israel and held investment banking and advisory positions at JPMorgan and Cowen in New York. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Bar-Ilan University and an M.B.A. from Yale University.

Avi Ben-Ari co-founded Park-in, Sphera's private equity strategy, in 2021. Before joining Sphera, he held leadership roles including CEO and Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing, with experience in the real estate industry. He holds an MBA in marketing and finance from Ono Academic College and an LLB from the Ramat Gan College of Law & Business.

Avishay Hertzanu joined Sphera in 2021 as portfolio manager of the Sphera Value and Sphera Master Fund, with more than 19 years of investment management and research experience in the Israeli capital market. He previously served as Chief Investment Officer at Forte Investment House and as a portfolio manager in the nostro department of Harel Insurance & Finance Group. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Management from Ben-Gurion University and an MBA from Tel Aviv University, and is a licensed portfolio manager certified by the Israel Securities Authority.

Omer Degani is a Managing Partner at Sphera Funds Management, where he works on sales and marketing, business development, and growth initiatives. Before joining Sphera, he spent 19 years as Head of Sales & Marketing at Yelin Lapidot Investment House, where he was also part of the executive team. He holds a B.A. in Economics with a specialization in Finance from Emek Yezreel College.

Tzafrir Efrati joined Sphera Funds Management as a Managing Partner in 2025, where he concentrates on the Israeli bond market and brings more than 15 years of experience in the Israeli capital market. He previously worked as a Partner and Deputy CEO at Focus Investment House, and before that led the corporate bonds division for provident and pension funds at Meitav Investment House. He holds an investment management license from the Israel Securities Authority.

Jonah Etessami leads investment sourcing, evaluation, portfolio management, and investor relations at IIFG. Before joining the firm, he worked at Fusion LA, Quid/Troy Capital Partners, and Insomnia Capital, building experience in deal sourcing, due diligence, and financial analysis. He graduated from USC's Marshall School of Business.

Adi Hanetz joined Sphera in 2011 and serves as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel/CCO, overseeing the firm's legal, finance, operations, back office, and HR functions. Before Sphera she worked at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP in New York, advising hedge funds, private equity firms, funds of funds, and other alternative investment vehicles, and earlier advised Israeli banks on regulatory compliance. She holds an LL.M. in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University (2003) and an LL.B. from Tel Aviv University (1998), and is admitted to practice law in Israel and New York.

Amir Davidovich joined Sphera in 2020 as a Research Analyst, covering sectors including energy, retail, and payments, and has more than six years of analysis and research experience in Israeli and global markets. Before Sphera, he was a Senior Advisor in the Transactions Advisory Services department at Ernst & Young. He holds a BSc in Statistics and Accounting from Tel Aviv University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Amit Drach joined Sphera in 2011 as a Senior Analyst and Co-Portfolio Manager, with over 15 years of experience in drug development analysis, market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling. Before Sphera, he held life sciences roles including Business Development Manager at ATI Technological Incubator, Clinical Development Manager at AsiaHQ, Medical Adviser at Itamar Medical, and Analyst at Alpha Trust Fund. He is a licensed medical doctor, having earned his degree from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Asaf Weksler joined Sphera in 2025 as an Investment Analyst focused on real estate and infrastructure. He previously spent six years in the Budget Department of Israel's Ministry of Finance, serving as Head of the Housing and Real Estate Sector and earlier as a Macro Analyst, and worked as a Project Finance Analyst at Giza Singer Even. He holds an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a BA in Economics and Statistics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Avishai Fort joined Sphera in 2021 and has more than eight years of experience in equity research and analysis, focusing on digital advertising, consumer internet, and consumer services. Before Sphera, he was a Managing Advisor at Giza Singer Even (GSE) Consulting & Advisory, working on projects including the privatization of Haifa Port and Israel Post. He holds a BA in Business and Accounting from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya and an MA in Political Science from Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf.

Geula Schwartz joined Sphera Funds Management in 2006 as a Senior Analyst and was involved in launching the firm's Healthcare Fund. She has over 18 years of experience in drug development analysis, competitive analysis, and financial modeling, and previously worked in financial consulting. She holds an MSc in Economics from Tel Aviv University and a BA in Economics and Business Administration from The Hebrew University.

Hagai Schor works on the Scientific and Clinical Research team at Sphera's Global Healthcare Fund and Biotech Fund, bringing a background spanning business and pharmaceuticals. He previously served as VP of New Ventures & Business Development at Rosetta Genomics, helping prepare the company for its NASDAQ IPO, and worked in business development at Teva Pharmaceutical Industries and in clinical research at Hadassah University Hospital. He holds an International Executive MBA from Tel Aviv University and Northwestern University, a PhD in Immunology, and an MSc in Biochemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Ithai Kenan joined Sphera in 2025 as an Equity Analyst, where he covers SaaS, enterprise software, and AI. He previously covered software companies at a hedge fund and held sales and technical presales roles at a homeland security company. He earned an MBA from IE Business School and a dual B.A. in Business and Economics from Reichman University.

Jonathan Shpigler joined Sphera in 2024 as a Research Analyst covering the semiconductor industry. Before Sphera, he spent eight years at Qualcomm in various development and managerial roles related to 5G cellular and networking. He holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.

Joshua Lipman joined Sphera in 2014 as a Research Analyst focused on technology and adjacent sectors, and leads investment research and analysis across technology and Israeli stocks. He previously spent three years as an Equity Analyst at Citi in London covering telecoms, travel, and leisure, and earned an ACA accounting qualification at PwC in London, working in audit, tax, and research. He holds a First-Class BSc in Psychology from University College London.

Matan Davidyan joined Sphera in 2025 as an Equity Analyst. Before Sphera, he covered Israeli companies at a hedge fund and earlier worked in the defense sector. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Management from the Open University of Israel, where he graduated with honors.

Michal Nachmany joined Sphera in 2023 as Head of HR. She previously held leadership roles at global high-tech and infrastructure companies including Leadcom, Orbotech, Pipl, and Playbuzz. She holds a Master's degree in Art Therapy and Psychology from the European Graduate School in Switzerland.

Omer Dagan joined Sphera in 2004 as an Information Systems Manager. He has about 30 years of experience managing computer systems at companies and investment funds in Israel.

Oshrat Levi joined Sphera Funds Management in 2017 as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Operations. She previously managed Hedge Fund Administration Services at Leumi Capital Markets and led the Hedge Fund Accounting Services Department at Raved-Ravid & Co, having started her career in hedge fund accounting as an auditor at Rothstein Kass. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from California State University, Northridge, in 2005, and is a Certified Public Accountant in California.

Tal Englander joined Sphera in 2025 as a Senior Relationship Manager, with more than 15 years of experience across investment management, business development, and corporate law spanning real estate, agritech, infrastructure, and private markets. Before Sphera, he worked at a family office where he handled global investments and M&A transactions. He holds an LL.B. in Law and a B.A. in Business Management (Finance) from Reichman University and belongs to the Israeli Bar Association.

Moshe Shoham heads the Robotics Lab and is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. He founded the medical robotics company Mazor Robotics, which was acquired by Medtronic for $1.7B in 2018, and invented the Mazor Robotics Renaissance Guidance System for spine surgery. His work includes micro robotics projects such as the Microbot ViRob, and he holds 50 patents and awards including the Thomas A. Edison Patent Award and election to the USA National Academy of Engineering.

Tom Kuo is Co-Portfolio Manager of the Sphera Global HealthCare Fund, a hedge fund focused on public pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, where he previously worked as an analyst. A medical doctor by training, he was introduced to the healthcare business sector during his medical studies through a role evaluating biomedical startups and working at a medical device company, later conducting due diligence for venture capital firms and technology incubators. He also served on the board of directors of the Gefen Incubator for approximately a year and a half.
