Investment thesis
Purple Ventures invests in early-stage, purpose-driven technology startups that already show initial revenue and pursue global ambitions, concentrating on tech-enabled innovation from the CEE+ region. The team, made up of entrepreneurs and former founders, backs companies at pre-seed and seed stages with initial tickets of €250k-€400k plus follow-ons over a 4-7 year horizon. They take minority equity so founders retain control, and are comfortable co-investing or leading rounds alongside angels and other VCs. Selection weighs the human qualities and AI-first mindset of the team, market size and unique insights, founder competence to scale globally, product-market fit for an AI/AGI future, timing, and ROI potential.
