Richard Fang is the Founding Partner and Managing Director of Hunniwell Lake Ventures, where he is launching a fund focused on overlooked segments of the medical device space. He previously spent 15 years as CEO of Reach Surgical, a surgical instruments company that he grew internationally before its sale to private equity, and earlier led R&D projects at J&J. He holds an MBA from the University of Cincinnati and a Ph.D. in Physics from Purdue University.

David Yeow is a Partner focused on Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Eight Mercatus. His experience spans Six Sigma, sourcing and supply chain management, manufacturing operations, management consulting, new business development, and strategic planning.

David Schechter is President and CEO of Meddux Development Corporation, bringing over 25 years of medical device development experience. Previously, he founded and managed Vention Medical's design and development office in Boulder, Colorado, and held roles at Covidien (Medtronic) including involvement in the LigaSure Vessel Sealing System launch and over 20 additional product launches. He holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from UC San Diego and an M.B.A. from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado, and is a named inventor on more than 45 U.S. patents in radiofrequency energy delivery, tissue welding, and surgical devices.

John Ashley is CEO and co-founder of Auctus Surgical, Inc., a medtech company developing a magnetically adjustable Dynamic Tethering System designed to correct spinal curvature in growing children while preserving motion, as an alternative to spinal fusion. With 35 years of experience in medical device development and seven prior successful exits generating over $1.25 billion in investor returns, Ashley founded Auctus Surgical to address limitations of fusion-based scoliosis treatment in pediatric patients. He is an MIT alumnus and serves as a board member and advisor to other organizations.

Matthew Otten is Vice President of Quality & Regulatory at Orthomod LLC. He has held product development, manufacturing, operations, quality, and regulatory leadership roles across domestic and international companies. His background includes organizational startup and growth initiatives.
