As Chief Business Officer at Magic Leap, he led the company's enterprise pivot and established alliances with organizations including Google, Microsoft, and Meta across sectors such as healthcare, defense, manufacturing, retail, and energy. Earlier, he served as Partner and Co-Head of North America at Boston Consulting Group Digital Ventures, where he oversaw a 400-person organization and a portfolio of digital investments, and held roles at Verizon and News Corporation structuring platform and content partnerships.

Yasushi Sasaki leads Boston Consulting Group in the Asia Pacific region, overseeing its business across Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia, with more than two decades of leadership experience in the region. He advises CEOs and management teams on AI-enabled transformation and business model reinvention, and previously served as BCG's Northeast Asia System Leader (2019-2024) and led the firm's Asia Pacific Financial Institutions practice. Before BCG, he worked in Tokyo and London for the Industrial Bank of Japan (now Mizuho Financial Group) on M&A advisory and leveraged finance. He holds an MBA from INSEAD, an MS from the London School of Economics, and a BA in economics from Keio University.
