Holds a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Ludwig-Maximilian-University, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and has served on numerous pharma and biotech boards.

He works as an independent consultant to hedge funds, investment management firms, consulting firms, and pharmaceutical companies, advising on matters including product liability and IP litigation, M&A, FDA quality and regulatory issues, and generic industry trends. Günbak previously served as SVP and General Counsel of a publicly-traded global pharmaceutical company, with earlier experience as an IP and commercial litigator at a large law firm.
