Investment thesis
EIFO acts as Denmark's state-backed business bank and investment fund, supporting Danish companies across their lifecycle. Its strategic agendas focus on national security and defense, the green transition at scale, growth and entrepreneurship for small and large businesses, and helping Danish firms expand globally. It deploys equity investments, guarantees and export credit instruments, invests in venture and growth funds (including a large European scaleup megafund), and finances early-stage technology startups as well as larger infrastructure and industrial projects. Its overarching mission is to strengthen Denmark's prosperity by backing ventures that make a difference.
