Laura Gleason Moore is Director of Operations at Berggruen Holdings, where she oversees operational strategy, processes, and performance across multiple sectors and regions in coordination with the CFO and other senior leaders. She joined the company more than seven years ago as Administrative Director before advancing to her current role, working on structuring, financing, compliance, investment projects, business development, and communications. Her earlier career included real estate positions at Colony Capital, GPI Companies, and Joseph Cohen Real Estate, and she studied English and Business at USC.

Nicolas Berggruen is the founder and chairman of the Berggruen Institute, an independent think tank he established in 2010, and the founder and investment advisor of Berggruen Holdings, the investment vehicle of the Nicolas Berggruen Charitable Trust. He is co-publisher of Noema Magazine and co-author of the books Intelligent Governance for the 21st Century: A Middle Way Between West and East and Renovating Democracy: Governing in the Age of Globalization and Digital Capitalism. He serves on the boards of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Museum Berggruen in Berlin, and is a member of the international councils of the Tate Museum, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and the J. Paul Getty Trust.
