Investment thesis
Belltower is not an investor but a fund administration provider for early-stage venture capital. Spun out of AngelList in 2019 as an independent entity, it uses AngelList's software to deliver turnkey back-office services to VC fund managers. Its offerings span financial reporting, tax document preparation, partnership accounting, investor onboarding, fundraising support, and portfolio company deployments and distributions. The company's stated mission is to remove the technical, operational, and administrative friction of launching and scaling venture funds so that managers can focus on investing, with the broader goal of enabling more capital to flow into startups.
