Aternus

Adam Wałach is a partner and co-founder of Aternus Family Office and the founder of the European Great Commission Collaboration (EGCC), a network of Christian funders supporting ministry initiatives in Europe. He co-founded the pharmaceutical company Walmark, which grew to 900 employees across nine countries before its sale in 2015, and with his brothers Waldemar and Mariusz received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in the Czech Republic in 2010. He holds an MSc in Mathematics from Olomouc University, completed the Halftime Institute in Dallas in 2013, and co-founded the 3WFoundation in 2022.

Mariusz Wałach co-founded the company Walmark with his brothers Adam and Waldemar in 1990 in the Těšín region, building it into a business with 900 employees and revenue exceeding 100 million EUR before selling a 50% stake to the MidEuropa fund in 2012 and the remainder in 2015. He co-founded Aternus Family Office in Třinec in 2016, where he serves as a member of the board, and in 2022 co-established the 3WFoundation, which supports Christian and charitable projects in Central and Eastern Europe. He chairs the Congress of Poles in the Czech Republic and, together with his brothers, received the EY Entrepreneur of the Year award for the Czech Republic for 2010.

Roman Kantor spent 25 years at Walmark, a company founded in 1990 by Adam, Mariusz, and Waldemar Wałach, serving 18 years as director of the pharmaceutical division and 7 years as director of strategy and acquisitions. After Walmark was sold to the investment group MidEuropa, he co-founded Aternus Family Office in 2016 together with the Wałach brothers and Petr Turoň, where he works as a partner. The firm manages family assets with a portfolio focused on private equity, real estate, and venture capital funds in areas such as technology, marketplace, SaaS, fintech, and deep tech, along with a smaller allocation to stocks and bonds.

Miloš Drdák began his career as a manager and consultant at Deloitte Audit in the Czech Republic, during which time he also lectured at the finance department of the VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, and in 2014 joined Walmark as group controlling manager. Since 2019 he has served as CFO and real estate investment manager at Aternus Family Office, a firm founded by Adam, Mariusz, and Waldemar Wałach together with Petr Turoň and Roman Kantor following the sale of Walmark to MidEuropa. Its portfolio consists primarily of private equity, real estate, and venture capital fund investments focused on areas such as technology, marketplaces, SaaS, fintech, and deep tech, with a smaller allocation to equities and bonds.
