Since 2001 has been a Partner at Hambrecht Ventures Funds 1 and 2 focusing on early-stage technology and bioscience investments in the US and China. Serves on multiple boards and holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University.

Manages the technical team behind the firm's proprietary MESE big-data and computing platform used to identify and analyze disruptive companies.
