Robin Richards Donohoe has nearly thirty years of experience in domestic and international venture capital. She co-founded and served as Managing Director of the Draper International and Draper Richards Funds, including the Draper International India fund, and earlier spent four years as Managing Director of Seaboard Management Corporation in Atlanta, with additional venture and investment banking work in Prague and Paris. She holds a degree from the University of North Carolina and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

William H. Draper III began his venture capital career in 1959 and founded Sutter Hill Ventures in 1965. He co-founded the Draper Richards and Draper International Funds and now serves as Co-Chair of the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation. He served as President and Chairman of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (1981-1986) and led the United Nations Development Program (1986-1993). He holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and authored "The Startup Game."

Anika Warren Wood serves on DRK's Operating Committee, where she focuses on organizational effectiveness, talent recruitment and development, executive coaching, and leadership development programs for portfolio organizations. Before joining DRK, she founded and led the Warren Group LLC, a strategic consulting and executive coaching firm, and previously held roles as Senior Associate Vice President of Foundation and Corporate Relations at Drexel University and Senior Director of Research and Global Member Services at Catalyst Inc. She also served as graduate-level faculty in counseling and clinical psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University, and has prior experience at Charles Schwab and Gap, Inc.

Bill Rodriguez is a physician and entrepreneur focused on global health, and serves as a Managing Director at the Foundation, where he sources new investments with an emphasis on the international portfolio and works with portfolio organizations as an operating partner and board member. He previously launched research programs at Harvard Medical School, served as Chief Medical Officer of the William J. Clinton Foundation, founded and led Daktari Diagnostics, and held CMO and CEO roles at the Foundation for Innovative Diagnostics (FIND) in Geneva. He is a graduate of Brown University and Yale University School of Medicine and trained in infectious disease medicine at Brigham & Women's Hospital.

Kanini Mutooni is a Senior Managing Director at the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, based in its Nairobi office, where she sources new investments and works as an operating partner and board member with organizations primarily in Europe, Africa, and India. She was previously Managing Director for Toniic and Director for Investment at the USAID-funded East Africa Trade and Investment Hub. A UK Chartered Accountant, she has held leadership roles at investment banks including Bank of America-Merrill Lynch and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, and was recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader.

Kristin Groos Richmond is a Managing Director of The Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, where she sources new investments and works with portfolio leadership as an operating partner and board member. She previously co-founded and led Revolution Foods as CEO from 2006 to 2021, and began her career at Citi in investment banking on the high yield leveraged finance team. She teaches an MBA course on business models for social impact at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and holds a BS in Finance and Accounting from Boston College and an MBA from UC Berkeley.

Lisa Jordan is a Senior Managing Director at The Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, where she sources new investments, serves as an operating partner and board member, and helps lead the Foundation's strategy in Europe. She previously served as CEO of the Bernard van Leer Foundation, Chief Strategy Officer at Porticus Foundation, and held leadership roles at the Ford Foundation, and was a founding director of the Global Legislators Organization for a Balanced Environment (GLOBE). She holds degrees from the University of Michigan and a Master's in Development Studies from the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague.

Margo Drakos is a Managing Director at The Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, where she sources new investments and works with portfolio organizations as an operating partner and board member, focusing on AI-enabled solutions supporting economic empowerment. She previously co-founded InstantEncore, a technology provider for the performing arts, and served as CTO and Partner at McChrystal Group. She founded the AmeriCorps program ArtistYear, holds a master's in human rights from Columbia University, and completed executive programs at Harvard's Kennedy School.

Cayla Weisberg is a Chicago startup community figure with a background in scaling startups, sales, and business development at fast-growing tech companies and a VC incubator. She sources female founders and provides hands-on guidance on startup scaling, pivoting, and operational excellence for InvestHER's portfolio companies.

CFO of M33 Growth, previously Controller at Solamere Capital and a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in audit and assurance. Holds finance and accounting degrees from Tulane and is a CPA.

Abby Crocker has served as Executive Assistant to Jim Bildner for over two decades. She previously held Executive Assistant roles supporting the leadership of edu.com, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, and Emmanuel College. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Rollins College.

Alex Prieto is an Executive Assistant in DRK's Menlo Park office, supporting Managing Directors Kristin Richmond, Nicole Gallant, and Oliver Rothschild, and also manages the office. She previously worked as an Executive Assistant at Shasta Ventures for ten years and at Kohlberg, Kravis & Roberts for five years, and has freelanced for the Special Education Advocacy Group since fall 2023. She holds an Associate of Science in Business Administration from Skyline College.

Ashley Bloomer manages the Dallas office of The Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, where she leads regional event operations, supports donor relations, and assists Managing Director Holly Kuzmich. She previously worked as a Portfolio Manager at Stand Together and held project management and organizational operations roles at the Charles Koch Foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Kansas State University.

Ashley Plaga is a member of the Communications team at The Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, where she leads data-driven storytelling, oversees the Foundation's annual publications, manages data collection initiatives, and runs the organization's website. She also helps organize the Annual Retreat and manages the internship program. Before joining DRK in 2015, she was Communications Manager at the Seattle Foundation, supporting the SkillUp Washington workforce initiative, and holds an MPA and a BA in Communications.

Audrey Atencio is a Senior Associate at DRK Foundation, which she originally joined as a Fellow from Harvard Business School's Leadership Fellows Program. She helps identify and support social entrepreneurs and assists with deals, portfolio support, and operations. Before DRK, she spent six years in program operations at One Acre Fund in Zambia and Rwanda, and worked at Beyond Capital Ventures and Piva Capital. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor's degree in International Politics and International Development from Georgetown University.

Cheyenne Kooijman works on expanding DRK's European sourcing efforts and manages the strategic development of the organization's brand in Europe. She previously headed the Marketing & Communications Department at Erasmus School of Law (Erasmus University Rotterdam), where she led a team and advised the management board on brand management. She holds an LL.B. and an LL.M. in Constitutional & Administrative Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Daniel Torres Balauro works with the DRK team to source and support social entrepreneurs, helping lead diligence on prospective investments and working with portfolio organizations on financial modeling, scale strategy, and follow-on funding. Before DRK, he founded a U.S.-Pacific environmental policy initiative focused on climate resilience and federal inclusion for U.S.-Affiliated Pacific Islands, and he serves on the board of Inclusive America, a nonprofit focused on federal appointment reform. He graduated from Swarthmore College with a major in Environmental Policy and is a Yale Public Voices on the Climate Crisis Fellow and Harvard Future Leaders in Law Fellow.

Elizabeth Durst works with the DRK team to source and support social entrepreneurs, partnering with mission-aligned funders to identify new investment opportunities. Before DRK, she spent three years at Village Capital as Economic Opportunity Practice Lead, running accelerator programs in justice tech, climate and environmental justice, and health equity, and led accelerator programs at EforAll in Boston. She holds a Social Impact MBA and a Master's in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University's Heller School, plus two bachelor's degrees from UC Irvine, and serves as COO of Athari Group.

Emily Edwards supports portfolio organizations in developing fundraising strategies tailored to each organization's model and strengths. She previously spent about two decades at Summer Search, a national youth development organization. She holds a BA in African American Studies with a concentration in Sociology from Wesleyan University.

Gwyneth Brown is a Communications Manager at The Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, where she supports communications, publications, social media, the website, event planning, and portfolio projects. Before joining DRK, she held marketing internships at the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative at Stanford University and at Vouch Insurance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and a certificate in Business Behavior Research from Washington State University.

Heleen van Oosterzee is an administrative assistant in DRK's The Hague office, supporting Managing Director Lisa Jordan and Partnership Associate Cheyenne Kooijman. She holds a BA in physical education and previously worked as a management assistant and outdoor physical education teacher.

Jolene Warren handles financial accounting at the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation. She has more than 30 years of experience in accounting and finance, including 23 years as a certified public accountant, and previously served as a Controller at various small and medium-sized companies across industries such as manufacturing, software, advertising, and farming. She shifted her focus toward nonprofit work after the pandemic.

JR Black is an editor, producer, and writer working with the DRK team to create multimedia content that showcases the Foundation's mission and impact. His career spans television, documentary, and commercial projects, with credits including Welcome to Plathville, The Real Hatfields & McCoys, Geraldo Rivera's Murder in the Family, and Fastest Cars in the Dirty South, as well as brand campaigns for Walmart, General Mills, and Yoplait. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory from the University of Maryland along with certificates in Philosophy and in Audio Engineering and Music Business.

Judy Woodruff is a senior correspondent and former anchor and managing editor of PBS NewsHour, with a journalism career spanning five decades across NBC, CNN and PBS. She was White House correspondent for NBC News, chief Washington correspondent for the MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour, and an anchor and senior correspondent at CNN, and in 2013 she and Gwen Ifill became the first two women to co-anchor a national news broadcast. She is a graduate of Duke University and a founding co-chair of the International Women's Media Foundation.

Kathryn Shehade is Chief Communications Officer at The Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, where she leads communications strategy, media relations, and community engagement. She spent over 25 years in the television industry as a publicist and producer, most recently as Director of Communications and Community for NBC and Telemundo's Boston stations, and earlier at WFXT-TV FOX25 and WCVB-TV. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Political Science from Northeastern University.

Kim Koontz is part of the portfolio support team at DRK, working on board, organizational, and leadership development. She co-leads the firm's Board Sourcing Initiative and Executive Coaching Match Program and manages customized projects for portfolio organizations. Before joining DRK in 2016, she worked at Housing Partnership Network as Administrative Coordinator and at Bank of America Investment Advisors as an Investment Company Administrator. She holds a BA in English from Syracuse University and an MS in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University.

Kristina Hudelson is the Associate Director of Legal Operations and Fund Management at DRK's Menlo Park office, where she supports the deal and portfolio teams with diligence, grant management, organizational governance, and legal compliance. Before DRK, she worked as a paralegal and office manager at boutique firms in the San Francisco Bay Area, assisting with corporate formations, stock and real estate transactions, litigation, and estate planning. She holds a BA in English and Italian from Santa Clara University and an MA in Educational Studies, along with certificates from Cornell University and Harvard Business School.

Lara Metcalf is Chief Portfolio Officer at The Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation and a member of its Operating Committee, focusing on sourcing new investments and supporting portfolio organizations as an operating partner and board member. She previously served as Managing Director and Venture Partner at The Social Entrepreneurs' Fund, CFO and COO at MIT-launched deep-tech fund The Engine, and Managing Director leading Social Investments at Social Finance. Earlier she was CFAO and Senior Associate Dean at Harvard's Kennedy School and spent eighteen years in fixed income at Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and Credit Suisse; she holds a BS in Finance from Boston College and an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School.

Liz Wangari is an Executive Assistant in DRK's Nairobi office, supporting Managing Directors Kanini Mutooni and Bill Rodriguez, Principal and Africa Lead Rachel Macauley, and the wider Africa team. She has over eight years of experience in business development and executive assistant roles covering strategic planning, digital marketing, customer success, and operations. She holds an MBA in strategic management and a Bachelor of Commerce (Insurance major, Marketing minor) from the University of Nairobi, and is a Certified Virtual Assistant.

Marloes Robben works with the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation to identify and support social entrepreneurs across Europe. Before joining DRK, she spent over six years at Bain & Company advising private sector clients on strategic initiatives including new business units and sustainability strategies, and completed an externship with UNHCR in Australia focused on corporate partnerships. She holds a Master of Science in International Management/CEMS from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and Organization Sciences from Utrecht University.

Mary Lachnit oversees accounting and financial reporting at the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, which she joined in 2016. A licensed CPA with over 20 years of experience, she began her career at Coopers & Lybrand and later held management roles at software companies Remedy Corporation and Interwoven, Inc. In 2013 she moved into not-for-profit accounting and previously served as Controller for the Myelin Repair Foundation.

Ruth J. Simmons served as the eighth President of Prairie View A&M and was previously President of Brown University (2001-2012), where she was also Professor of Comparative Literature and Africana Studies. Earlier in her career she held faculty and administrative roles at the University of Southern California, Princeton University, and Spelman College, and served as President of Smith College beginning in 1999. She earned a Ph.D. in Romance Languages and Literatures from Harvard University in 1973 and advises the foundation's board and management on societal challenges.

Susan (Sue) M. Gordon served as the fifth Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence beginning in 2017, after more than three decades in the U.S. Intelligence Community, including roles as Deputy Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and 27 years at the CIA across its four directorates. She helped establish In-Q-Tel in 1998 and now works as a consultant on technology, cyber, space, and global risk. She holds a B.S. from Duke University, where she captained the women's basketball team.
