Investment thesis
Rubylight invests in consumer-facing (B2C) internet and mobile startups that demonstrate proven organic user growth, regardless of location, investing internationally with a fast, committee-free decision process. Beyond capital, the firm provides hands-on technological support, engineering talent, and proprietary scaling technology drawn from decades of building large consumer internet companies in Europe. It focuses on areas it understands well and can add value to, favoring communication, content sharing, social media, and crowdsourcing products where creative ideas can drive explosive user growth.
