Investment thesis
Overmatch invests in founders tackling what it frames as America's defining strategic and technological challenges, concentrating on three focus areas: deep tech, defense, and space. Within deep tech it targets artificial intelligence, quantum sciences, robotics and manufacturing, energy, advanced materials, computing and microelectronics, and biotech. Its defense interests span cybersecurity, autonomous systems, hypersonics, human-machine interfaces, directed energy, and advanced sensing and radar. In space, the firm looks at satellites, propulsion, future communications, multi-orbit operations and logistics, and in-space manufacturing. The firm highlights strategic competition and supply-chain concentration risk as drivers of its focus on domestic technology leadership.
