Ashish Gupta is CTO at Kain Capital with a background spanning technology, product, machine learning and data. He previously led the machine learning team for Google's Smart Ads Bidding and Optimization, worked as a quant developer at hedge fund D.E. Shaw, and co-founded and served as CEO of the data automation startup Polymer Search. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Northwestern University and an undergraduate CS degree from IIT Delhi.

Ben Sagalyn is a Vice President on the investment team at Kain Capital. He was previously a Senior Associate at Pinta Capital Partners, a healthcare-focused family office where he worked on private company investments, and earlier held roles at Endeavour Capital, a generalist private equity firm, and in Bank of America's Healthcare Group. Bret Cummings has over 30 years of experience in investment management, including 25 years at alternative investment firms. She began her career on the Privates team at Coatue Management, later helped launch and manage Cantos Ventures, and led healthcare investing at Lifeforce Capital while at Columbia Business School. Dennis Nesta is an Operating Partner at Kain Capital with nearly two decades of healthcare experience across health plans and providers, focused on transforming organizations toward value-based care. He first connected with Kain Capital as CFO of Excelsior, a portfolio company, and after helping lead its merger with Rendr became Chief Strategy Officer of Rendr, where he oversaw the shift from fee-for-service to managing about $1bn in risk premium. He previously held market and corporate leadership roles at Aetna, Cigna, and served as a Regional CFO at ChenMed.

He is a technology leader at Lance Health, contributing to the engineering behind an AI-powered clinical documentation platform for home health agencies. Earlier, at ChenMed, he built an enterprise analytics platform that used AI to detect missing diagnoses across large volumes of medical records and patients.

Harry Zirinsky is Head of Business Development & Strategy at Kain Capital. He previously worked as a portfolio manager at Bienville Capital Management and Talpion Fund Management, managing a cross-asset absolute return portfolio across products and geographies with a focus on risk management. He started his career at BNP Paribas trading interest rate swaps and derivatives, and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University.

Phillip Franz is an Operating Partner at Kain Capital with over 30 years of experience in health insurance and managed care across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines. Ben Kraus is an Advisor with Kain Capital. He co-founded Stellar Health Inc., a technology company focused on helping primary care providers deliver value for managed care organizations, and previously ran a large Medicare Accountable Care Organization in the U.S. with over 4,500 participating physicians. Earlier in his career he was a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. and earned an MBA from Wharton.

Jake Landau is a Senior Associate at Prospect Capital Management with six years of experience in investment banking and private equity. He spent his early career in investment banking underwriting lending opportunities to private equity clients, developing expertise in LBO modeling, credit markets, and deal execution.
