Investment thesis
Building on a decade of work through the Conscious Venture Lab, the organization trains under-estimated and early-stage founders operating at the intersection of profit and purpose. Its accelerator curriculum, developed with Raj Sisodia and UVA Darden's Ed Freeman, is grounded in Stakeholder Theory and Conscious Capitalism, teaching founders that managing a business for all stakeholders creates both societal and financial value. It emphasizes economic empowerment in historically neglected communities, immersive founder support, and a belief that diversity is a competitive advantage and that investing in people can revitalize communities long excluded from traditional venture ecosystems.
