Sven Wollschlaeger grew up in the Midwest and co-founded a technology company in college that was deployed at universities across the U.S. He later worked with technical teams at publicly-traded companies and pre-IPO startups, spent time at a16z, and then three years at Insight Partners, where he helped lead seed and Series A investments in security and Gen AI companies as well as growth rounds in developer and data infrastructure firms. He now focuses on cybersecurity, which he views as central to protecting future software innovation.

Serves as a board member for Brightmind portfolio companies Artemis and Onit.

Iva Messy has 20 years of operating experience, having led key functions at funds including a16z and Felicis (5 years), and spent over 4 years at Stanford Management Company. Before her career in venture capital, she was a nationally ranked junior and professional tennis player. She holds a B.A. from Seton Hall University and an MBA in Global Business Management, and focuses on building operationally excellent, scalable organizations.

Jamie Mneimneh is CTO of Brightmind, applying a systems engineer and operator background to the firm's investment process. Before Brightmind, they held senior architecture and engineering roles across cybersecurity and enterprise infrastructure, shaping security strategy and reviewing large numbers of technology solutions. At the firm they work with founders to evaluate technical architecture, scalability, security, and defensibility.

Taylor Cleveland is Chief of Staff at Brightmind, supporting the leadership team on strategy and execution. She previously worked at The Home Depot as a Cybersecurity Analyst and earlier as Executive Assistant to the CISO, and has held roles at MiMedx Group and Booz Allen Hamilton. She holds a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Business from Georgia Southern University.
