ElevenLabs Inc. is a software company specializing in natural-sounding speech synthesis built with deep learning. Founded in 2022 by Piotr Dąbkowski (CTO) and Mati Staniszewski (CEO), it is legally incorporated in the US, is based in London and maintains offices in New York City, Warsaw and San Francisco. Its name derives from 11 November, the date of Poland's National Independence Day, combined with "Labs" to signal its research and development orientation.

The company began with a text-to-speech model and has since extended its research across speech-to-text, sound effects, dubbing, music and conversational models. Products are packaged into three lines: ElevenCreative, a platform to generate, edit and localize speech, video, music and sound effects across more than 70 languages; ElevenAgents, a platform for configuring, deploying, testing and monitoring voice and chat agents across phone, chat, email and WhatsApp with analytics, guardrails and workflow tooling; and ElevenAPI, a set of developer APIs covering text to speech (Eleven Flash, Eleven Multilingual, Eleven v3), speech to text (Eleven Scribe) and music generation. Other listed products and features include Eleven Music, Scribe v2 Realtime, Agent Workflows, Productions, 11ai, the Voice Library of community-created voices, VoiceLab voice cloning, and an AI Speech Classifier released on 20 June 2023 to detect whether an audio sample was generated with ElevenLabs technology. A consumer mobile app for AI voice, image and video generation is distributed on Google Play under the developer name Eleven Labs Inc.
