Craftwork is a full-service residential and commercial painting company that pairs an in-house software platform with directly employed painting crews. Homeowners request an estimate online and receive a same-day, virtual quote without an in-person home visit, then schedule work, choose colors and communicate with the crew through Craftwork's tools. Services cover interior painting (walls, ceilings, trim and full rooms), exterior painting including siding, brick facades, decking and fencing, and cabinetry refinishing, with additional specialty finishes such as limewash.

The company describes its model as vertically integrated: rather than subcontracting, it deploys trained, full-time employee painters, who are offered guaranteed 40 hours of pay per week, medical, dental and vision coverage, and paid time off. Projects are backed by a three-year guarantee, and the company positions itself as a certified Sherwin-Williams partner while also working with Benjamin Moore and Farrow & Ball colors. Craftwork publishes process guides and color/sheen resources for interior, exterior and cabinetry work.

Craftwork was part of Y Combinator's Summer 2023 batch and is presented there as a digital-native home painting franchise operating in the proptech and home services categories, with a stated ambition to disrupt the home services market and become the largest residential general contractor in the country.
