Val Elbert is the global leader of Boston Consulting Group's Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice, where he oversees the firm's advisory and go-to-market relationship with Google as well as work with a major North American telecommunications company on post-merger integration and operating model redesign. Before BCG, he was a Director in the Product Design and Development Group at Verizon Communications, where he led product launches and holds two patents. He earned an MBA from Columbia University and both a Masters of Engineering and a BS in Computer Science from Cornell University.
