Michael Dorrell is Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder of Stonepeak, which he helped establish in 2011, and serves on the firm's Executive Committee, directing its strategy, investment decisions, and expansion into new regions and products. He has over twenty years of infrastructure investing experience. Before founding Stonepeak, he was a Senior Managing Director in Private Equity and Co-Head of the Infrastructure Investment group at Blackstone, and previously spent more than a decade at Macquarie in Australia and New York. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales.
