He was previously CEO of Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. from 2016 to 2021, having co-founded the firm and served as Co-President from 2007 to 2016, with over 27 years in energy investment banking and strategic advisory. Earlier he spent 1994 to 2007 at Goldman Sachs, working in Leveraged/Structured Finance and finishing as a Managing Director in Energy & Power/Natural Resources. He holds a BA in Economics and Russian from Rice University and a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School.
