About
Colin Webb has founded two companies and sold one before turning thirty. He and MIT classmate Nenye Anagbogu built Sauce, the restaurant pricing and automation startup that earned them a Forbes 30 Under 30 place in 2022 and was acquired by Virtual Dining Concepts in 2024 — then reunited to found Avatar Robotics, pairing semi-humanoid robots with remote human operators so warehouses can staff shifts they cannot otherwise fill, while every teleoperated hour generates training data for autonomy. Since launching in December 2025 the robots have packed and shipped more than 900,000 products, and in August 2026 the company raised a $6.5 million seed led by AlleyCorp. A Ron Brown Scholar from Lawrenceville, Georgia, he gave his MIT class commencement address.
