About
Joachim Hedenius was the founding engineer behind Sweden's first digital health centre. He co-founded Kry in Stockholm in 2014 with Johannes Schildt, Fredrik Jung Abbou and Josefin Landgård, and as chief technology officer built the engineering organisation and the platform that now handles millions of consultations a year across four European markets, trading as Livi in Britain and France. He came to it from Videoplaza, the Stockholm advertising-technology company where he was vice-president of engineering — and where Landgård had also worked — and he was an early public advocate for running continuous security scanning on a platform holding patient records. In 2021 he co-founded Scapin', an avatar-based virtual-spaces startup, with the former iZettle product chief Leo Nilsson; it raised $3.5 million in pre-seed funding led by Creandum.
