About
Bruce Evans joined Summit Partners in 1986 and served as a Managing Director before transitioning to a Senior Advisor role. Over his career he has served as a board director for more than 40 companies, including 14 public companies such as Analog Devices, FleetCor Technologies, Hittite Microwave, Hyperion Software, OPNET Technologies, optionsXpress, and Pediatrix Medical Group (later MEDNAX). Before entering the investment world, he sold mainframe computers for IBM in Louisville, Kentucky. He has been active in the venture capital community, founding the NVCA's Growth Equity Group and serving on the NVCA board, and holds leadership roles tied to Vanderbilt University and the Nashville venture scene.
