Investment thesis
The Family operates on the belief that great entrepreneurs can emerge from anywhere, regardless of local resources. Twice a year it selects about 50 startups globally into an intense six-week remote program in exchange for 5% equity. Founders receive one-on-one office hours with partners, masterclasses, peer learning through founder days, access to an alumni community built on a pay-it-forward ethos, and startup perks. The program culminates in an online, invite-only Demo Day designed to make companies look their best to hundreds of VC firms and angel investors, followed by ongoing support to help founders close funding rounds and grow beyond fundraising.
