Snowpoint

Doug Philippone co-founded Snowpoint Ventures in 2021, a venture firm focused on bringing technology talent to defense and government. He served as Head of Global Defense at Palantir Technologies from 2008 to 2024, building the defense business to support more than 19 allied countries, before becoming Senior Advisor. He spent 18 years in the US Army with six deployments to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan, holds a mathematics degree from West Point and a master's in Terrorism Operations and Finance from the Naval Postgraduate School, and studied Machine Learning at MIT.

Lillie Belle Renner is Director of Investment Operations at Snowpoint, a role she took on after nearly eight years at Palantir Technologies. At Palantir she led partnerships for the R&D team and worked to grow the company's presence in the space sector, and earlier helped US Government customers implement Palantir's software for large-scale data problems. She holds a B.A. in International Relations from Sewanee: The University of the South.

Tom Fawcett is a Senior Associate at Snowpoint. He previously worked as an Investment Associate at Brighton Park Capital in New York, focusing on growth-stage enterprise and consumer software, and as an Associate at William Blair & Company in Chicago across its Technology and Equity Capital Markets groups. Earlier, he played professional tennis on the ATP Tour, and he holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a BS in Science, Technology, and Society from Stanford University.
