Relic

Co-founder and CRO of Relic. A Keio graduate, he led IT consulting and system development project management at Future Architect and later new business and open innovation in e-commerce at DeNA. He joined Relic in 2016 as COO and now leads stakeholder relationship strengthening across the company.

Co-founder and CTO of Relic. He studied robotics at NAIST and worked at AIST before joining DeNA, where he led e-commerce and shopping-mall development and later smartphone app and new business development. He joined Relic in 2016 as CTO, building one of Japan's largest development organizations focused on new business, and is a member of the Japan CTO Association.

Co-founder, executive officer, and head of Relic's Product Discovery division. A Yokohama National University graduate, he developed frontend and iOS apps at CyberAgent and DeNA, then worked as a freelance developer. He joined Relic in 2016 as CCO, specializing in UI design and service design, and established his division in 2021.

CFO of Relic. A Ritsumeikan University graduate, he worked in corporate finance and structured finance at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, then led sales, marketing, and IPO preparation at a design venture. He joined Relic in 2022 and co-founded 3rd Economy in 2023; he is a licensed real estate transaction specialist.

CDO of Relic and representative director of design consultancy SEESAW. A Tama Art University graduate, he spent 11 years as an art director at Hakuhodo on major-brand advertising before founding SEESAW in 2018. He became Relic's design partner following a 2022 capital and business alliance, leading branding and creative work.

Executive officer and head of Relic's Business Creation division. An Iwate University graduate, he worked in technical sales at a semiconductor trading company, then in technology strategy and new business consulting at Accenture, later supporting ventures as a freelancer. He joined Relic as a business producer and became division head in 2025.

Senior executive officer and head of Relic's Innovation Management division. A University of Tokyo economics graduate, she worked in marketing at a foreign advertising agency and in new business development consulting at the Hakuhodo group, then in data-utilization consulting at a CDP SaaS company before joining Relic in 2023. She is a published author on innovator talent management.

CIO and executive officer of Relic. A Shibaura Institute of Technology graduate, he developed financial systems at a major SIer and web systems at CA Mobile and DMM.com Labo, and is active in hardware and 'monozukuri' making. He joined Relic in 2016, founding its information systems department and leading development of platforms such as ENjiNE.

PR manager at Relic. An Iwate University graduate, she handled corporate PR for a used-clothing chain, then solo PR at freee Sign and freee Inc. covering media relations, crisis PR, and PR infrastructure. She also works as a freelance PR consultant and joined Relic in her current role in 2023.

Technical advisor and auditor at Relic, and CTO of NonEntropy Japan. An Aoyama Gakuin University graduate, he served as CTO of Excite, head of development at Yahoo! JAPAN, and an engineering leader at DeNA. He joined Relic in 2015 as technical advisor and became auditor in 2019.

Marketing advisor at Relic and representative director of ohpner. A Doshisha University graduate, he helped build the fluct SSP into one of Japan's largest, became an executive officer at VOYAGE GROUP, founded Telecy, and later founded ohpner in 2024 to transform offline advertising.

Executive officer and head of Relic's New Business Development office. He worked in SME consulting before joining DeNA in 2004, leading new businesses in music, travel, and e-commerce. He later joined KDDI Commerce Forward (now au Commerce & Life) as an executive officer and director before joining Relic in 2023.

Executive officer and VP in Relic's Innovation Management division. An Iwate University agriculture graduate, he worked in M&A consulting and co-founded M&A platform ALIVAL (now M&A Navi). At Relic he supports large-company new business creation, startup M&A, and CVC strategy and execution.

Executive officer and head of Relic's Glocal Innovation division. He researched marketing, consumer behavior, and innovation at Kobe University graduate school and joined Relic as its first new-graduate hire in 2020. He established a Shimane base in 2022 and later led regional revitalization projects, launching the Glocal Innovation division in 2024.

Executive officer and VP in Relic's Innovation Management division. A Chuo University graduate, he worked at Baycurrent Consulting and Future Architect on large-scale IT and network projects. He joined Relic in 2019, supporting large-company new business development through incubation and acceleration, and is a published author on carve-out co-creation strategy.

Fellow at Relic and a serial new-business creator. Involved in new business for 37 years since age 19, he joined Misumi in 1992, helped establish M-Out in 2002, and co-founded companies including Raksul and Carepro as vice president. He has experienced 10 IPOs and 8 exits and advises organizations such as JAXA and JR East Startup.

Advisor to Relic. A Waseda University graduate, he built a long career at Mizuho Bank including roles as Seoul branch manager and East Asia regional head, becoming deputy president in 2019 and president of Mizuho-DL Financial Technology in 2021. He retired in 2025 and now supports startups and serves as an outside director.

Executive officer and head of Relic's Tech Bridge department. A Tokyo University of Science graduate, he worked as an engineer at NEC on telecom proposals and location-based new services. He joined Relic in 2019, leading development of the Throttle product to a top domestic share, and now bridges business and engineering to accelerate MVP implementation for new businesses.

Business design partner at Relic and director of SEESAW. A Hitotsubashi University graduate, he worked in marketing at Hakuhodo, served as CMO of MUGENUP, founded frozen-food venture Edamame, and co-founded design consultancy SEESAW in 2016. At Relic he supports branding, marketing, PR, and design consulting.

Executive officer and VP in Relic's x-AI division. A Tokyo Institute of Technology graduate, he worked on IoT and AI new business development at NEC and later at a consulting firm serving manufacturing and finance clients. At Relic he leads AI/LLM-based new business projects including AI agents and business efficiency support.

Outside director of Relic and representative director of ABAKAM. A Kobe University graduate, he joined Future Venture Capital (FVC) in 2002, established Japan's first municipal fund, and became FVC's youngest president in 2016, devising the 'VC as a Service' model and setting up around 50 funds totalling roughly 24 billion yen. He founded ABAKAM in 2022 and has invested in over 100 companies.

Head of Relic's Corporate Communication department. A University of Tokyo graduate, he worked as a PM/PdM in Recruit's housing domain and contributed to new business growth. He joined Relic in 2022, served as head of the DUALii service, and now oversees company-wide marketing, sales, PR, and recruiting communications.

Advisor to Relic and president of astamuse. A University of Tokyo graduate, he founded astamuse (formerly Patent Bureau) in 2005, building a large innovation database supporting technology transfer, IP strategy, and new business SaaS. He became a Relic advisor in 2020 following a business alliance.

Executive officer and head of Relic's Edge Incubation division. He founded a new-graduate recruiting business while at Yokohama National University and served as COO of an HR startup, then worked in strategy consulting. He joined Relic in 2020, leading multiple 0-1 phase projects and carve-outs, and heads the IDEATION Cloud product.

Executive officer and head of Relic's Product Development division. A University of Tsukuba computer science graduate, he did backend and infrastructure development at United Inc. and worked as an SRE at a major IT company. After freelancing, he joined Relic full-time in 2021, establishing a technology platform group, and became division head in 2022.

Executive officer and head of Relic's x-AI division. A Doshisha University economics graduate, he worked as a national and local government official before joining Relic, where he served as lead engineer on a global crowdfunding/e-commerce platform and as head of app backend/infrastructure development. He founded Pro3Lab in 2023 and holds multiple AWS certifications.

Executive officer and head of Relic's Co-Creator Experience department. A Yokohama National University graduate, he launched an e-commerce business at an NTT group subsidiary and joined DeNA in 2006, leading an e-commerce platform business and a KDDI collaboration. He joined Relic in 2023, working on recruiting, accounting, and governance projects before his current role in 2024.

Executive officer and head of Relic's Deep Tech Innovation Center, holding advisory and faculty positions at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Osaka Institute of Technology, and Rikkyo University. With a background in power electronics at a major electronics maker and roles at independent VCs and startups, he has supported over 300 technology-management engagements and authored a bestselling book on deep tech.
